Delayed Blog
Yeah...been gone for a bit but am back and going to revamp this a bit. A mix between fantasy sports and what is on my mind. Currently with playoffs about to start in most fantasy leagues lets talk about Thursdays game:
First lets talk about the NFL Network. There are millions upon millions of fantasy players and they sit up in their offices and decide, " Hey, lets have a Thursday night game so they will subscribe to us and watch us" Are you kidding me? Yes, they may get a few more subscribers among the most hardcore, but alot of us are ticked off. For those you that have a league lineup deadline of the first game of the week, this cant be good for your playoff possiblilities as they have games at the end of the year. These foggies are sitting up there drinking their wine that doesnt come from a box and looking to cash in. If they wanted to cash in they would have chose Tuesday (after that Mondays game) as all fantasy players would have that game pinpointed on their schedule, or at least a Saturday night game so it wouldnt piss us off as much and we would have watched. Good choice NFL network...hope your subscriber level doubles from 27. On to the game:Bengals vs Ravens: Cincy: Must starts: Ocho Cinco, Palmer, Graham. Should Start Johnson. Not a bad start: Housh. Stay away from: as always Cincy TE and DEF; Balt: Start: Lewis, Heap, Def. If Needed start: McNair, ClaytonOk thats it for now...still trying to figure out the fonts and formats of the site

This Weeks Games
Alright, after a crazy week here is an update of this weeks games:
Pittsburgh vs Cleveland: In terms of players that you may have actually started, Willie Parker actually had a good game though not stat wise, happened to grab a few TD's and one on a basically "I dont want the ball, you take it" by Roth. Roth was ok though he did hit Cleveland defenders more than Heath Miller. Holmes did grab a TD but still isnt usable in most formats. On Cleveland's side, i am pretty sure most of you grabbed Jason Wright off the waiver wire, yeah right, anyways any of Clevelands backs are useless. Edwards had another good game and is deserving if you need WR help. Kellen Winslow is a TE, and that says it all. TE's are TE's and you are lucky if they can net a score and 30yds...he just missed the scoring part
New England vs Green Bay: If you started any Packers this week, there is a really good chance you lost. Unless you have IDP scoring and had AJ Hawk...even then you still probably lost as the Packers didnt really tackly anyone. Belechek continues his evil mindset of lets screw over fantasy players as much as possible. This week it was Maroney running...the only real safe play on NE is Brady, maybe there defense and Watson, if you need an actual body to fill you TE position
Oakland vs Kansas City: Yeah, ummm, Oakland. If i have any of their players other than Janikowski they are on the bench. If you are relying on Aaron Brooks (its Aaron Freaking Brooks) then you are in trouble. The injury to Jordan is useless as Jordan has been useless all year. Moss, bench or cut. The most exciting part of this game is Michael Bennett, he averaged 15 yds per carry, get him now as Larry Johnson isnt doing anything and it will be Bennett's job soon. Anyone believe that last statement, if so, give up now. I would still give Green a week before starting him, he wasnt embarrasing but not real productive until the final drive. And 9 completions doesnt bode well for KC's receivers.
Minnesota vs Miami: MN stats were not bad, but would you use any of those receivers? On the Vikings i would use Taylor (Chester, not Travis) every week and their defense. Seriously -2 yds rushing by Miami? I thought Ronnie would be able to get around 50yds and a TD, but 2 yds...tough for his owners. Brad Johnson had more yards and he is nearing Medica. I would target Welker if you dont have him and need help at WR, alot of balls are being thrown his way, and that is not meant to be dirty locker room talk as he is a small white receiver.
